Deondre Francois vs. Ole Miss

This game set the tone in more than one way in hindsight. It was foreshadowing of how FSU’s offense would have to routinely come from behind most of the season.

Also, this game showed what Francois displayed all season, that he could take a lick and keep on ticking.

He ended the game on 33 of 52 passes for 419 yards and two touchdowns. Francois also contributed in the run game with nine carries for 59 yards.

This game is number two on the list because this game started heading the wrong direction fast. Dalvin Cook was playing hurt and it was up to Francois in his first college game to will the team back to victory.

The expectations for that 2016 team were through the roof, and a loss against Ole Miss could have set the team up for four or five eventual losses had they not had a monster comeback victory.
