Former FSU football running back Dalvin Cook is making the rounds for the upcoming NFL Draft. A current NFL running back co-signs he’s the real deal.

FSU has had a number of NFL first round draft picks over the past few years, and Dalvin Cook looks to continue that trend in this years draft.

Cook is considered by many to be the most complete running back in the draft and was a lock to be a first round draft pick.

He’ll likely still be a first round draft pick, but some media “draft experts” are pushing the narrative that Cook has off field character issues from several years ago despite having no issues the last three years.

There’s heavy smoke that Cook will be drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at No. 17 in the first round. That would pair him with former FSU football quarterback Jameis Winston who played with Cook during his true freshman year in 2014.

Co-Signage

A lot of current NFL players have voiced their opinions on Dalvin Cook and how he’ll do in the league. One of the best running backs in the NFL last season didn’t hesitate to co-sign Cook earlier this week:

Real recognizes real, and I’ve yet to see or hear an NFL player not give Cook respect as a football player. All you have to do is turn on the tape:

Blount is currently a free agent with the New England Patriots. They’re looking to re-sign him after he rushed for 1,100 yards and 18 touchdowns last season.

Cook became FSU’s all time leader rusher last season in only three seasons, and the ACC’s second all time leading rusher. There’s no question he’s the best to ever do it at FSU and in the ACC.
