The 2017 NCAA Tournament Selection Show will take place Sunday night and FSU basketball will be anxiously waiting to see where they’ll be playing in the big dance for the first time since 2012.

Here is all the information you need to know in order to watch the NCAA Tournament Selection show tonight:

2017 NCAA Tournament Selection Show Information:

Date: Sunday, March 12

Time: 5:30 p.m. EST

Where to watch: CBS

Where to watch Online: NCAA.com and CBSSports.com

Here are the latest projections according to a couple of services for FSU basketball heading into Selection Sunday:

  • USA Today: Midwest Bracket playing in Kansas, FSU No. 2 seed taking on No. 15 CSU Bakersfield
  • ESPN: West Bracket playing in Orlando, FSU No. 3 seed taking on No. 14 Winthrop

The No. 1 projected seed for the Midwest Bracket is Kansas and FSU could face either Xavier or St. Mary’s in the second round.

Other teams like West Virginia, Wisconsin, Purdue and Michigan State are projected to be in that Midwest Bracket.

In the West bracket the No. 1 projected seed would be Gonzaga and FSU could face either Iowa State or Middle Tennessee State in the second round.

Other teams like Florida, Virginia Tech, Oregon and Creighton are projected to be in that West Bracket.

Thoughts

It doesn’t matter which bracket FSU goes. Ultimately, FSU’s toughest opponent is themselves as they are wildly inconsistent at times and that has cost them several times this season.

Either they can’t make free throws, turn the ball over too much or allow teams to light them up from long-range. If they can be consistently good in two of those three areas, they will have a chance to make a deep run in the tournament.
