Real Analysis

It’s true Cook has had surgery on his shoulder, but to say he’s limited in pass protection and receiving is Stretch Armstrong special.

When the offensive line allows players to come through like gang busters, it’s going to be difficult to pick those up every time. That’s what happened much of the early part of the year with a red-shirt freshman who held the ball far too long at times.

Cook improved mightily as a passing threat each year, and the kid has the second highest reception total on the team(33) last season. He also runs a hell of a wheel route, just ask Miami fans.

What does lack of body armor mean? The kid is built like a tank and missed far fewer games than Leonard Fournette in college. Hell, he was willing to play hurt unlike most college players which should speak volumes.

Character issues? It’s true he has some maturity issues his first year, but beyond that has a been a model citizen that’s done numerous amounts of hospital visits and events working with youth.

That’s never reported though is it?
