Jacques Patrick Or Running Back By Committee?

FSU football loses the greatest running back in its history in Dalvin Cook who’ll be a first round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Enter junior running back Jacques Patrick who has been playing in the large shadow of Cook and used relatively sparingly.

Patrick has 124 carries over his first two seasons, a big back who has progressed in his ability to run with conviction.

Will he cement himself as the starter or will the hungry pack of wolves behind push him for playing time?

Amir Rasul is a former four-star recruit who had six carries all of last season. Five-star true freshmen Cam Akers and Khalan Laborn along with four-star Zaquandre White will be vying for playing time. However, Laborn and White are not on campus yet with Laborn still needing to qualify.

There’s also senior Ryan Green and junior Johnathan Vickers in the mix unless one of them decides to try and play somewhere else.
