Pittsburgh (8-5, 5-3 ACC)

The only team to beat both the ACC (Clemson) and B1G (Penn State) champs this season, and four of their five losses were by a touchdown or less.

The Panthers had the No. 3 offense in the country, but it was their defense that cost them in most of their wins. Offensive coordinator Matt Canada has bolted for LSU and the Panthers will likely have a new quarterback in former five-star recruit Max Browne next season.

Pittsburgh has 19 commitments for the 2017 recruiting class and ranked No. 7 in the ACC and No. 36 nationally.
