Florida State (10-3, 5-3 ACC)

The hype was a year too early for this team as they got off to an embarrassing start to the season. They were 3-2 before they blinked, but righted the ship and finished as one of the best teams in the nation.

They played Clemson as tough as any team has all season and likely would have won that game if not for a bad ref call and Trey Marshall getting wrongly ejected for targeting.

A huge bowl win over No. 6 Michigan only bolsters the hype for next season. FSU finished in the top 10 for offense (No. 2) and defense (No. 10).

Jimbo Fisher has 17 commitments for the 2017 recruiting class that’s ranked No. 1 in the ACC and No. 5 nationally.
