No. 2 – Cook becomes FSU’s all time leading rusher vs. Syracuse (2016)

The legacy of Dalvin Cook had been cemented the year before when he became the leading rusher in school history – going nearly 400 yards over the previous total by season’s end after missing nearly two full games. However, it would be a magical day in Western New York that would further prove why he was the best.

With a 41 yard run in the first quarter, Cook became the leading rusher in the history of FSU football – topping the great Warrick Dunn for that honor. In true Dalvin fashion, he would finish the game with over 200 yards (the fourth time in the last two seasons he topped that number) along with a career high four touchdowns in the big win.
