No. 3 – Constant bragging about having a better football history than they actually do

The Florida Gators started playing football during the 1906 season, while FSU played their first game in the current state in 1947. Both schools have the same number of national titles and Heisman winners (three) while the Seminoles have more nearly twice as many conference titles (15 to eight) and over twice as many New Years Six bowl wins (13 to six).

Still, fans of the Crocs love to talk about how they are the best football program in the state. The oldest, yes. But both FSU and even Miami (which stated playing twenty years after Florida) look down on them when it comes to wins and titles – both individual and team. Heck, it took them over 55 seasons to win their first conference title!
