What’s Next?

The FSU offensive line will face arguably its greatest challenge when they take on the Clemson Tigers on October 29th.

Clemson has the No. 9 defensive line in the nation according to Football Outsiders. Louisville’s defensive line is ranked No. 83 for comparison sake.

Ole Miss checks in at No. 60.

Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables has that defense playing at a high level and they’ll come into the FSU game off a bye week as well.

If the FSU offensive line doesn’t rise to the occasion, I would not be surprised to see Deondre Francois knocked out of that game with an injury.

Either that, or Jimbo Fisher better scheme up some plays(roll outs, etc) that can help hide some of the offensive line problems.

Maybe offensive line coach Rick Trickett can work some magic in a week? If they can’t get better play from this offensive line in the last five games, it could be time to make a change.
