Honorable Mentions

Logan Tyler-The true freshman kicker had an excellent game as well. He would have made the impact list had FSU been able to get more stops on defense in the first half. Ole Miss scoring so fast sort of made his punts mute unfortunately.

Tyler boomed several kickoffs boomed seven of his 11 kickoffs for touchbacks. He also averaged 44 yards on his three punts on the night. That’s right where Cason Beatty was in his final year at FSU.

Ryan Izzo-Izzo had a monster second half in the game. He finished the game with three receptions for 41 yards and a touchdown. Two of his receptions came on the drive that gave FSU football the lead for good.

All in all, a big time win when facing tons of adversity. That should get you excited about this FSU football team. They easily could have folded after that first half performance.
