Logan Tyler

Logan Tyler came to FSU football as a consensus three-star recruit and the No. 6 kicker in the country.

FSU’s punter the past four seasons, Cason Beatty exhausted his eligibility and Tyler could be the player to replace him in 2016.

He has a huge leg, making field goals from 65 yards + and averaging around 43 yards per punt his senior year in high school. Jimbo Fisher said Tyler and another true freshman Ricky Aguayo are still battling for the starting gig as kicker.

Those two positions are extremely important to the success of FSU football in 2016. We learned that the hard way with Cason Beatty struggling his first two seasons before having a career year in his final season.

Stay tuned, if Tyler doesn’t get the field goal kicking job, he very well could be the starting punter and be used on kick offs.
