Ricky Aguayo

Yep, that’s the younger brother of FSU great Roberto Aguayo who was just drafted in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Ricky has huge shoes to fill, but I believe he’s capable of being a consistent kicker. Aguayo was an early enrollee and Roberto said, “he was a lot more prepared for college than he was at that age.”

Aguayo also showed that he make a field goal when the pressure was on during the FSU spring game.

Coach Fisher had enormous confidence in Roberto and it’ll be interesting to see how that plays out early in the season with Ricky. Will Fisher settle for a 48 yard field goal on fourth and one or choose to go for it with a freshman kicker that’s never kicked on the big stage?
