George Campbell

George Campbell came to FSU in the 2015 recruiting class as a consensus five-star recruit and the No. 2 receiver overall.

He’s a big receiver that can stretch the field and played in 10 games as a true freshman while recording three receptions for 42 yards on the season. All of that production came in the opener against Texas State.

The FSU offense isn’t easy to pick up for true freshman, which is why you see Rashad Greene in the NFL who had a great freshman season.

However, Campbell has a full year under his belt now and should be more familiar with his role. If he doesn’t do anything else, hopefully he can become a viable end zone target when the ‘Noles get into the red zone this season.

If FSU can get a stat line of 25 receptions for 300 yards with four touchdowns that would be huge progress and bode well for Campbell’s junior season in the offense.
