FSU football has not endured a great deal of losses in the first six years under Jimbo Fisher. Actually, there’s only 14 losses to choose from.

How crazy is that in six years? Jimbo Fisher has gone an incredible 68-14 in that six-year span with the majority of those losses coming in the first two years of the rebuilding process.

There have been losses were FSU football was absolutely dominated like Fisher’s first road trip to Norman, Oklahoma, in 2010.

There have been losses where FSU has absolutely beat themselves like the bowl game last season against Houston.

There are a lot of factors that go into teams losing games. Things like turnovers, bad calls, bad luck, poor execution on the players part, poor coaching and simply being outmatched talent wise.

Thankfully, the latter hasn’t happened too often at FSU football, especially since Jimbo Fisher took over for Bobby Bowden. The only time that has happened was the aforementioned Oklahoma game in 2010.

With that being said, there have been some tough losses in those 14 that still haunt FSU fans to this day (well me at least anyway).

Let’s take a look at those losses and why those losses took place.
