Dustin Hopkins Game Winning 55 yard FG over Clemson

This was a tough game. EJ Manuel got the start for an injured Christian Ponder. The ‘Noles were coming off back-to-back losses against NC State and UNC.

Those were two games FSU football should have won, not to mention Dustin Hopkins missed what would have been a game winning FG against UNC the week prior.

The game was tied 13-13 with the ‘Noles receiving the kickoff with about 50 seconds to go after a Clemson field goal had tied it.

EJ Manuel’s arm along with some penalties from Clemson allowed that magical moment to happen. As a matter of fact that kick might have been good from 65-70 yards.

The win helped secure FSU a spot in the ACC title game for the first time in a while. Just listen to that crowd go crazy!
