Roberto Aguayo

Quite simply the best kicker in the history of FSU football and all of college football. That’s say a lot following a kicker like Dustin Hopkins who was also great in his time at FSU football.

However, as a redshirt freshman Aguayo would prove that he was as close to automatic as possible in 2013.

Actually, after a few games I can’t recall feeling nervous at all for any field goal that he took while at FSU.

That’s incredible in itself.

Not only that, he was so gifted that he would contribute to hidden yards on special teams. Of course he could boot the ball out of the back of the endzone every time.

However, Aguayo was able put the ball right near the goal line and force opposing teams to return the kick and allow the athletic advantage of FSU special teams to be a factor.

Here’s to hoping his younger brother can be remotely close to as good.
