Warrick Dunn

No disrespect to Jameis Winston…or Derrick Brooks, Terrell Buckley, Peter Warrick or any of the dozens of other players who could make the cut…but Dunn was a player who was the best of both on the field success and off field greatness that FSU football should be proud of.

On the field, Dunn was unstoppable and set the standard for what running backs at FSU would be judged. Dalvin Cook broke Dunn’s single season rushing record last season and may end up being the best ever stats wise, but Dunn will still be the one remembered as the running back G.O.A.T.

Off the field, Warrick Dunn’s charity work can be matched by few others at any school including FSU. He is the person that you want your alma mater to produce and someone you can be proud of for what he does. Dunn has lived up to that standard and continues to be a shining example of not just a great player, but a great person as well.
