Of all the great players and coaches in the history of FSU football, who would be the four that would symbolize the best in program history?

In the first 69 seasons of FSU football, some of the best names to ever play the sport of college football (and possibly some of the best in the history of the NFL) have at one point worn the garnet and gold and been a member of the Seminoles’ program.

Names like Ward, Brooks, Simmons and so many more have at one point or another made FSU fans cheer and enjoy the best moments in the history of the school. But, the question remains: what four members would be on the Mount Rushmore when it comes to FSU football?

CBS Sports has been doing Mount Rushmore’s for some of the top programs, and their list for FSU included legendary coach Bobby Bowden to go along with two of his former players and the last great to lead the ‘Noles to a title:

Now, no one can doubt that Deion, Charlie and Jameis are three of the top players to ever say they were Seminoles. While Bowden has to be on the list for turning FSU football from something that was moments away from being eliminated into what it is today, are those three the best in program history? Here’s our list.
