FSU Football: Top 15 Offensive Players FSU Will Face in 2016
By Kelvin Hunt
The 2016 season will be a lot of firsts for Mitch Trubisky. It will be the first time he will be the full-time starting quarterback after playing behind Marquis Williams at UNC.
It will also be the first time he travels to Tallahassee to play the ‘Noles.
Trubisky looks like has a lot of tools in the limited times we’ve seen him play at UNC. He completed 85 percent of his passes for 555 yards, six touchdowns and no interceptions.
He’s not just throwing screens to running backs out of the backfield either as Trubisky averaged over 11 yards per pass attempt in 2016.
Oh, he can be a threat with his legs too. He ran for 101 yards while averaging over six yards per carry with three touchdowns in 2016.
UNC runs a hurry up spread system under Larry Fedora and were highly explosive last season. FSU football will get Trubisky in his fifth start of the season.
