FSU Football: Top 15 Offensive Players FSU Will Face in 2016
By Kelvin Hunt
Elijah Hood will face the ‘Noles for the first time in his career. The North Carolina native enters his third year at UNC, coming off an outstanding sophomore season.
He rushed for 1,463 yards while averaging 6.7 yards per carry while scoring 17 touchdowns.
I watch a lot of UNC football being that I live in North Carolina and this kid is a stud. I thought Larry Fedora should have given him the ball more at times last season.
Hood is a powerful back with a sneaky burst, but lacks the top end speed to take it to the house against elite competition.
He had eight 100 yard rushing games in 2015 and the ‘Noles will need to keep him in check when UNC visits Tally on the fifth game of the season.
The ‘Noles will be facing the aforementioned Marlon Mack and Elijah Hood in back-to-back weeks.
