Clemson Recruiting

The Tigers have 10 commitments for the 2017 class thus far with an average rating of 91.29. That’s 1.43 points less on average per player than FSU recruiting.

Translation=Clemson is recruiting at an elite level. They are ahead of FSU recruiting at the moment because they have basically have two more commitments. Clemson is No. 2 in the ACC and No. 5 nationally.

The class consists of one five-star recruit, six four-star recruits and three three-star recruits. Clemson doesn’t plan to take a huge class (probably around 18 or 19, but right now its class is dominated by seven offensive players (three of them offensive linemen).

They are in the mix for several upper tier players and will look to pick and choose the best fit/need/quality players for those remaining slots.
