The FSU Recruiting Class Thus Far

The 2017 class currently has seven commitments for an average rating of 92.72 which is still outstanding and highest in the ACC by a good margin.

There are four defensive players and three offensive players. There are five four-star recruits and two three-star recruits.

Here are the seven members of the #TRIBE17 recruiting class:

  • DJ Matthews, 4-star WR
  • Cyrus Fagan, 4-star Safety
  • Ja’len Parks, 4-star Defensive Tackle
  • Zaquandre White, 4-star Running Back
  • Bailey Hockman, 4-star QB
  • Cory Durden, 3-star Defensive Tackle
  • Bradley Jennings Jr., 3-star Linebacker

FSU is expected to sign in the ballpark of 18-22 players. In typical Jimbo Fisher fashion, FSU recruiting began the cycle strong but have not had momentum with public perception in a while. However, as stated earlier, FSU is in the mix with several top-tier players.

We mentioned that the ‘Noles currently have the fourth ranked recruiting class in the ACC behind Miami, Clemson and now North Carolina.

Let’s take a look at both of their classes. We’ll start with Miami since they are ranked No. 1 at the moment. We’ll also take a look at Florida since they are another main rival.
