North Carolina-The Tarheels will come to Tallahassee for the first time since 2010 when the Heels defeated the ‘Noles 37-35. The Heels are coming off a 11 win season and return some talent on offensive. Coach Larry Fedora’s offenses are up tempo and are capable of putting up points. They’ll have a new quarterback in Mitch Trubisky, but he has experience playing behind Marquise Williams. The Heels will be in year two with defensive coordinator Gene Chizik who helped them improve immensely over the previous season.

Ole Miss-The ‘Noles will play Ole Miss in their opener at a neutral location, but it’ll be closer to a home game for FSU since it’ll take place in Orlando. Ole Miss has a talented quarterback in Chad Kelly, but there are big questions on the offensive line and their secondary. If I knew that Sean Maguire was not going to be the starter in this game, it might make the cut since there are so many unknowns on the FSU offense with him out.
