My birthday!  The Louisville game will represent the first true road test for the FSU football team in 2016. The Cardinals and Bobby Petrino return a talented team with a very athletic quarterback in Lamar Jackson.

Louisville also returns wide receiver James Quick who had five receptions for 130 yards and three touchdowns against the ‘Noles last season.

Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium can get rocking when Louisville is playing good football, just see the first half of the 2014 game against FSU.

The Louisville defense did lose some talent, but replaces that talent with some experienced players and JUCO players.

The biggest concern in this game would be how the offense would fare in the first road game of the season. The Louisville defense held FSU football to six first half points last season before it became the Dalvin Cook show.

The other important aspect of this game is that it’s a ACC Atlantic division game. FSU can’t afford to lose a division game the way Clemson has been playing the past couple of years as that game has been the defacto ACC championship game.
