Turnovers

One of the hallmark’s of a young team is turning the ball over for no apparent reason. FSU basketball certainly fit the bill in that department.

FSU turned the ball over 435 times on the season which was 256th in the nation. That’s right at 13 turnovers per game.

Teams can’t turn the ball over at that rate and expect to compete night in and night out against the upper tier of the ACC.

Often times the turnovers occurred when players were driving to the basket or when teams pressed after made baskets.

If FSU can get the turnovers to around 10 or less per game, that’ll be more opportunities to put points on the board.
