Rebounds

The Crusaders crash the glass with the best of them. They average 42 rebounds per game which is good for fifth in the nation. They have two players that account for most of their damage there. Alec Peters and Vashil Fernandez average 8.4 and 7.5 rebounds per game respectively.

Their rebounding efforts go hand-in-hand with their defensive efforts which often keeps teams off the offensive glass, holding them to one shot per possession.

They can also crash the glass on the offensive end. Approximately 31 percent of their rebounds for the season have come on the offensive boards.

By contrast, the ‘Noles average 36.9 rebounds per game which is good for 129th in the nation. Approximately 31 percent of the ‘Noles boards come on the offensive glass as well.

The difference here is that the ‘Noles defense has been sub-par much of the year, allowing teams to get offensive rebounds or simply not getting stops on defense for the opportunity to grab defensive rebounds.
