5. Brian Burns, 4-star DE

Burns hails from Plantation American Heritage High and visited Florida State this past weekend, and it appears the Noles could close with him after a strong final visit. Burns is the former teammate of current FSU cornerback Tarvarus McFadden who also hosted him for his visit. The 6’4.5″ 209 pound Burns is also considering Georgia and Florida and will announce his decision on National Signing Day.

The Noles have Janarius Robinson (4-star) who enrolled at FSU this spring and Burns would be the second DE to enroll. Josh Brown was also an early enrollee who can play defensive end or linebacker. DeMarcus Walker decided to come back for his senior year which should be beneficial to these young studs as well as year of strength and conditioning.

The Noles will also have Rick Leonard who came on late during the year which should be added depth. Burns is being recruited by Bill Miller and Brad Lawing. Burns will announce his decision on National Signing Day.
