National Signing Day: Position Grades
Offensive line
A year after signing 8 linemen, the ‘Noles had another strong, but smaller OL class with Abdul Bello, Cole Minshew and David Robbins.
Abdul Bello – Bello is extremely raw as a football player right now, not having ever played football until his junior year of high school, but his upside screams elite tackle prospect. Due to him being relatively new to football, offensive line coach Rick Trickett may not have to correct too many bad habits.
Cole Minshew – Minshew is a very underrated prospect that the ‘Noles jumped on and secured early. He plays with a certain mean streak that scouts love.
David Robbins – Robbins is a very solid offensive line prospect who projects as a center or guard. He has excellent feet and is a very good pass-blocker. This is definitely the type of player that Offensive line coach Rick Trickett covets, as Trickett made a very strong impression and was key in Florida State landing Robbins.
Grade – A. All three of these linemen are going to be very good under Rick Trickett’s tutelage.
