Brewton reminds me a lot of former ‘Nole and current Baltimore Raven Terrence Brooks. He’s not extremely flashy, but the things he does, he does very well. Brewton has solid speed and is a very good athlete. His height and length are a very nice asset, but he needs to add about 15-20 lbs. of weight to improve as a tackler.
Brewton displays an ability to use his hips and turn and run with receivers that is very rare to find. He does a nice job of breaking up passes and finding the ball. Brewton has the potential to be a very good safety for the ‘Noles, providing he dedicates himself in the weight room.
Brewton chose the ‘Noles over offers from Clemson, Georgia, Notre Dame among others.
