Meet the 2015 FSU Early-Enrollees

George Campbell – Wide Receiver –  East Lake High School – 6’3″ , 183 lbs. – Five-Star

Campbell is a player that a lot of recruitniks had questions about. Due to an inconsistent junior season in which he dropped a lot of balls, Campbell was bumped down to a four-star before the season began. Campbell responded exactly how everyone hoped he would– he became much more consistent.

Just as the previous two players in this article, Campbell is an athletic freak. Standing at 6’3″ and weighing 183 lbs. with the frame to get bigger, Campbell is still able to run a 4.3 40 yard dash. That rare combination of size and speed is going to be tough for opposing teams to match up against.

With the departures of Rashad Greene and Nick O’Leary, Campbell will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact as a freshman. You can read my evaluation of Campbell here.
