Josh Sweat – Weak-Side Defensive End – Oscar Smith High School – 6’5″, 240 lbs. – Five-Star

Unfortunately for the ‘Noles, five-star Josh Sweat will not participate in spring practice due to a severe knee-injury. Before his injury, Sweat was rated as the top overall prospect in the country, and for good reason.

Sweat is a tenacious, explosive player whose athleticism is off the charts. And he’s only going to get bigger and stronger and should be able to keep his explosiveness at the same time. Sweat plays with a ton of effort, and even when it seems he’s been beat, he’s still able to make plays.

Once Sweat gets healthy and the strength back in his knee, I expect him to be a dominant pass rusher for the ‘Noles. You can read my entire evaluation of Sweat here.
