Hyundai Sun Bowl – December 27th – 2:00 PM – CBS
#15 Arizona State Sun Devils (9-3) vs. Duke Blue Devils (9-3)
Breakdown: This game has to feature the most lop-sided match-up of the bowl season. Arizona State has faced – and beaten – multiple teams better than what it’ll face in Duke. Duke may have went 9-3, but it’s three losses were to Miami (6-6), Virginia Tech (6-6) and North Carolina (6-6).
Players to watch: Arizona State wide receiver Jaelen Strong is going to provide a very touch match-up for Duke, as the 6-foot, 3-inch junior recorded over 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns during the season. The player to watch for Duke will be Quarterback Anthony Boone. Duke goes as far as Boone will take them, and the senior will be looking to go out on a high note.
Prediction: Arizona State has clearly been the better team leading up to bowl season, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Duke made this game exciting. Arizona State 41, Duke 30
