Military Bowl Presented by Northrop Grummon – December 27th – 1:00 PM – ESPN

Cincinnati Bearcats (9-3) vs. Virginia Tech Hokies (6-6)

Breakdown: Another game where both teams are just polar opposites. Cincinnati comes into this game winners of it’s last 7 games, while Virginia Tech is limping into this game after another disappointing year under Frank Beamer.

Players to watch: Quarterback Gunner Kiel will be the player to watch for Cincinnati. Kiel finally saw the field this year after a rocky road, including a transfer from Notre Dame. The redshirt sophomore didn’t disappoint either, throwing for 3,010 yards and 30 touchdowns. Sophomore cornerback Kendall Fuller will be the player to watch for the Hokies.

Prediction: The Hokies are by far the more talented team in this one, but after a third straight subpar season, I’m beginning to wonder if the players have quit on Frank Beamer. Cincinnati 24, Virginia Tech 13
