NC State Wolfpack (7-5) vs. Central Florida Knights (9-3)

Breakdown: NC State is a team that was almost impossible to read. After starting the year 4-0 and taking No. 1 Florida State into the 4th quarter before eventually falling 56-41, State then dropped it’s next three games before going 3-1 in it’s last four games to finish the season 7-5. UCF was 5-3 before going on a tear in the final month and winning it’s last four games enroute to a conference title.

Players to watch: Quarterback Jacoby Brissett is the player to watch for NC State. The junior quarterback threw for nearly 2,400 yards and 22 touchdowns to just 5 interceptions. Linebacker Terrnce Plummer is the player to watch for UCF. The senior linebacker leads UCF in tackles with 92 and is the anchor of UCF’s third-ranked overall defense.

Prediction: NC State is back in a bowl game after missing one last year, and it will no doubt be looking to gain some respect going into next year. This should be another entertaining game. UCF 27, NC State 24
