My thoughts about the logo rather mirror my thoughts about UF’s colors, but this seems like an even bigger missed opportunity, due to what could have been done, logo-wise, with the gator concept. What Florida employs doesn’t evoke the fear and respect people show actual alligators.
It looks stupid. The big dumb cartoon mouthbreather looks like it needs help. I don’t fear that gator, I want to rescue it, and take it home and housetrain it, and post pics of it on Instagram.
