What to Watch For: FSU at Louisville

4.) Can the Receivers separate?
Louisville’s secondary is very aggressive. Normally you can exploit that tendency with the double-move but only if you have time to throw. Again, as was just said, that’s why pass-pro will be so important in this one.
But beyond simply giving Winston time to throw, FSU’s receivers are going to have to work a little harder to get separation tonight from one of the best secondaries that the Seminoles will face all season.
Early on this year FSU’s receiving corps struggled. And while it’s looked as though Bobo Wilson and Travis Rudolph have built a stronger rapport with their QB in the weeks and months since, it’s important that they show up tonight and provide options beyond just Rashad Greene.
Nick O’Leary could be big tonight too. If he can get good match ups with linebackers and safeties he could be looking at a big game.
Regardless, someone beside Greene has to get open for Winston tonight or this could be a long night.
