FSU football returns one of the most talented rosters in college football for 2017. We take a look at the five areas FSU needs to improve on in 2017.

FSU football has a lot of the check boxes marked to be considered an elite team in 2017. They have a seasoned quarterback who won ACC Player of the Year honors in Deondre Francois.

The defense returns Derwin James who’s arguably the best defensive player in the country. Also, experienced linebackers return and the anchor of the defensive line returns in Derrick Nnadi.

The offense will feature larger receivers than years past, and Nyqwan Murray is as dynamic as you’ll find when he’s consistent.

FSU will also feature one of the most talented backfield in the country with a stable of big time running backs.

So the pieces to make the four team play off and potentially play for a national title are there. However, there are a few areas FSU football will need to improve up if the want that ride to happen.
