Uh oh... This former FSU wide receiver is inactive again this Sunday

This is more bad news for the former Florida State wide receiver.

Former Florida State football players are littered throughout the NFL. The league has an abundance that made a name for themselves in the Garnet and Gold.

We already discussed former quarterback Jameis Winston in today's matchup. However, what about the rest of the players across the league. Well, according to a report from NFL Media's Cameron Wolfe, former Florida State wide receiver Keon Coleman will be inactive for the third time this season with the Buffalo Bills, as they take on the Cleveland Browns today.

Coleman was someone that the Bills were excited to draft to be a sensational piece in their offense with quarterback Josh Allen. However, it seems like the former Seminole cannot get out of his own way these days.

According to ESPN Stats and Information, Coleman has recorded 36 receptions for 355 yards and four touchdowns. He did not have a single catch in last week's game against the Patriots.

This is tough to see because the talent of Coleman is there. The organization drafted him in hopes of being the No. 1 option for the superstar quarterback. However, it seems like the pass catcher cannot get out of his own way nowadays.

While he didn't have his best year at Florida State in 2023, he still showed the potential to be special, where he recorded 50 receptions for 658 yards and 11 touchdowns (according to Sports-reference.com).

The Bills will be going on the road today to face the Cleveland Browns at 1PM EST. The Browns are one of the worst teams in the league, but Buffalo has to remain focused as they try to get the highest-seed in the NFL Playoffs.

Coleman is the Bills' third-leading receiver so far this season, but they have had to rely on the tight end duo of Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox. The former Florida State pass catcher will likely be needed down the stretch with the Chiefs eliminated from playoff contention.
