Offensive lineman transfer to Florida State soon?

Florida State football is trying to find success in the transfer portal market. It seems to be a little bit difficult to get on the right track after finishing with a 2-10 record.

Florida State can make some moves happen, but with a new coaching staff and the horrific results from 2024, the Seminoles might have to pony up more resources than they want to. I am not saying that it will go all out for prospects as programs like Texas Tech have done, but Florida State will have to pick and choose its battles.

As a wise man said: "It isn't about how you start, it is about how you finish."

Florida State has struck out on prospects they have wanted, such as wide receiver Mario Craver, wide receiver Kendrick Law, offensive lineman Marcellus Marshall, offensive lineman Caden Kitler, offensive lineman Addison Nichols, and defensive tackle Lee Hunter.

The Seminole fan base has become impatient in the transfer portal, with the additions not happening right away. With that being said, Florida State might get very happy soon as UCF offensive lineman transfer Adrian Medley finished up his visit with the Seminoles.

Medley has been familiar with the newly constructed offensive coaching staff with Gus Malzahn and Herb Hand. He understands the family aspect of Florida State with the previous relationships. Transfers factor in comfortability a ton, and the talented offensive lineman's recruitment fits that bill.

He started all 12 games for UCF last year at tackle, but Florida State is looking for him to contribute at guard if he were to come to the Seminoles. It looks like it could only be a matter of time until that decision is made, as he told media members that Florida State would be his only visit and he would be shutting other places down.
