COLLEGE FOOTBALL 26 IS HERE
The EA Sports College Football 26 video game is here. That means that the sport that we all adore is right around the corner. Florida State football looks to turn the narrative around after its 2-10 record from a season ago.
It won't get any easier as the Seminoles will take on the Alabama Crimson Tide in the friendly confines of Doak Campbell Stadium on Saturday, August 30th at 3:30 PM EST on ABC. In waiting for the season, the fan base has decided to get on the sticks and play as Florida State in the video game.
I have enjoyed playing with the Seminoles in College Football 26. As a result, I want to highlight a few Florida State football players on the roster who make playing the video game fun.
QB THOMAS CASTELLANOS
This was an obvious answer. Florida State picked up dual-threat transfer quarterback Thomas Castellanos this offseason. With the pick-up of the former UCF and Boston College product, the Seminole fan base can use his 90 speed rating to their advantage. One sleeper pick that I am hearing from others is using true freshman Kevin Sperry, who is someone that the staff is excited about.
RB KAM DAVIS
I know the talk of the offseason in the running back position has been Oklahoma transfer Gavin Sawchuk and former four-star prospect Ousmane Kromah, but EA Sports made Kam Davis an 81 overall rating with abilities such as Headfirst, Arm Bar, and Downhill to make opposing defenses pay.
WR DUCE ROBINSON
There is nothing like having a safety blanket at the wide receiver position when the defense forces you to third down. Florida State football has that luxury with 6'6" and 222-pound Duce Robinson with abilities such as Press Pro and 50/50. Just like the actual season, Robinson will be a weapon for Castellanos to use again and again.
