Should FSU football wear the Seminole Heritage uniforms against Wake?

GETTING OFF THE LOSING STREAK

Florida State football is in a rough spot as a program right now, as the Seminoles have lost four in a row. The Seminoles' defeat to Stanford was disappointing. Many amongst the fan base thought that it could be the nail in the coffin for head football coach Mike Norvell's job security.

Florida State welcomes in Wake Forest tonight for a matchup inside Doak Campbell Stadium at 7:30 PM EST on the ACC Network. This is considered to be the Seminole Heritage game. During the 2024 version, fans thought that the Seminoles would wear its turquoise uniforms, but that turned to not be the case.

It is understandable that fans don't care anything about what the Seminoles wear in today's matchup and just want to see a victory (or maybe a loss, since a majority of them want to see Coach Norvell fired).

WILL THE TURQUOISE UNIFORMS BE WORN?

Let me start off by saying that I believe Florida State has one of the best combinations in all of college football with the Garnet and Gold. While it is understood that the uniforms and even the Seminoles' logo has been changed over the years, it isn't the color orange.

The perception is that the best uniform combination for the Seminoles is the traditional gold helmets, garnet jerseys, and gold pants. However, players on the roster and recruits that tune into the game, love to see the alternate uniforms.

When Florida State dropped the Seminole Heritage turquoise uniforms, there were mixed reviews, but there was a solid chance that the Seminoles would wear them at some point.

This is a situation where Florida State's football season has been disappointing with the four-game losing streak. The fan base might not be as excited about the Wake Forest matchup with the recent slump. This could be a perfect time to bring excitement with the new uniforms, and hopefully get a victory in the win column.
