It is hard to believe that we are at the regular season finale versus the Florida Gators. It seemed like just yesterday, we were breaking down the opener against Alabama.

Time flies by quickly!

The 2025 season has been a roller coaster ride that Seminole fans never knew would happen. Obviously, it was better than the 2024 campaign, but the truth of the matter is that anything can be an improvement from that.

Florida State head football coach Mike Norvell was announced that he will be retained for the 2026 season, but the Florida Gators don't have Billy Napier at the helm and look to be zeroing in on Tulane head football coach Jon Sumrall after Lane Kiffin narrowed down his choices to Ole Miss and LSU.

The Gators have been a dumpster fire this season, as they are limping to the finish line with a 3-8 record. However, the Seminoles will be playing on the road, where they cannot seem to get in the win column. Florida State has been winless in their last eight games away from Doak Campbell Stadium.

Ben-Hill Griffin Stadium will be up to the task to potentially ruin Florida State's season. The Seminoles will need quarterback Thomas Castellanos and this offense to get the momentum early. They cannot afford to be behind the chains and get this crowd involved.

Recruiting wise, this would be an important victory for the Seminoles to sell the vision of having the ability to beat a rival on the road. Overall, this might come down to a slop fest for both offenses that are inconsistent. The defenses will likely wait for one of the offenses to make a costly mistake.

SCORE PREDICTIONS

Taylor Devers: 20-16 FSU

Kelvin Hunt: 24-17 UF

Griffin Durden: 27-24 FSU

Mike Wilson: 19-17 FSU

Nick Andre: 30-15 FSU

Hopefully, our own Kelvin Hunt successfully has a reverse jinx and the Seminoles going bowling. We had turkey on Thursday, let's have gator on Saturday!
