Will the Noles be able to secure Class of 2025 4-star OL target Dontrell Glover?
FSU football added talented pieces to their 2025 recruiting class with five-star OL Solomon Thomas, four-star QB Tramell Jones Jr., four-star DE Javion Hilson, and four-star LB Ethan Pritchard. The Seminoles are certainly not finished with acquiring highly-touted prospects.
As we alluded to in a previous article, Class of 2025 four-star interior offensive lineman Dontrell Glover from Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn (GA) told On3 National Recruiting Analyst Phillip Dukes in a recent interview that Florida State was the leader in his recruitment.
The four-star standout de-committed from the Alabama Crimson Tide after the legendary head football coach Nick Saban shockingly retired. It seems as though the Seminoles have made a surge in his recruitment where they offered him on February 3rd after he attended their Junior Day event.
While offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins has only secured five-star Solomon Thomas from Raines High School in Jacksonville (FL), the hope is that he can obtain one or two more talented pieces for the future foundation of the program.
Ironically, on Friday afternoon, Glover posted on Twitter (X) account that he needed to get in touch with On3 National Recruiting Expert Hayes Fawcett.
When prospects want to speak with Hayes, it typically means that they want him to make an edit in some fashion. While I am unsure as to whether Glover will release a top schools list or a commitment edit, I do know that the Seminoles will most likely be heavily in the mix.
Glover is classified as the tenth-best IOL prospect according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. This would be a monumental get for the Seminoles as they look to continue to secure protection for its future signal caller, Tramell Jones Jr.
Florida State has not secured many commitments this cycle. However, the fanbase could be in for a pleasant surprise with a potential Glover announcement.
