Former Florida State ultra-talented defensive end Jared Verse was selected with the No. 19 overall pick by the Los Angeles Rams in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Rams are having to replenish their defensive line after former Hall of Famer defensive lineman Aaron Donald unexpectedly retired from the league this offseason.

Verse decided to come back to Tallahassee due to the fact that he wanted to bolster his draft stock and had a purpose to come back to Florida State for unfinished business in hopes of winning a national championship in 2023 (thanks College Football Playoff committee... we haven't forgotten).

The former Albany transfer recorded 18 total sacks in his past two seasons in Tallahassee. Even though the defensive end was highly sought after by many teams, defensive ends coach John Papuchis has a history of developing defensive ends to the league.

With Verse going in the first round, let's discuss four current Seminole players who could be first-round selections in next year's NFL Draft.
