GREGORY XAVIER THOMAS

This makes the most logical sense considering that four-star cornerback target Gregory Xavier Thomas from American Heritage High School in Plantation (FL) has now received three crystal ball predictions in favor of Florida State over the last couple of weeks.

The talented defender is from Patrick Surtains' old stomping ground where he used to be the head football coach at American Heritage. While Surtain has not secured a defensive back in this recruiting cycle, he has been able to showcase his recruiting prowess as he obtained four elite prospects in the 2024 recruiting class.

As it pertains to Thomas, he is a lengthy 6'2" cornerback who is very physical when facing off against opposing offensive players. The American Heritage High School is considered the 111th-best prospect in the 247Sports rankings.

He has consistently visited Florida State more than any other school in his recruitment. The Seminoles could get some good news sooner rather than later.
