FSU football currently has the fifteenth-best recruiting class in the 2025 cycle with four prospects committed to the fold in five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas, four-star quarterback Tramell Jones Jr., four-star defensive end Javion Hilson, and four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard.

The Seminoles' coaching staff is far from finished when it comes to acquiring more talent in their recruiting class. Specifically, Florida State wants to add more playmakers for its talented signal-caller to throw the football to.

Two options that we have written about is five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench Jr. from Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Florida (teammates with Jones Jr.) and four-star wide receiver Vernell Brown III from Jones High School in Orlando, Florida.

Unfortunately, both playmakers have now received crystal ball predictions in favor of Ohio State from 247Sports Director of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong. This is a bummer for the Seminoles to be trending away from both Ffrench Jr. and Brown III. However, let's evaluate the recruiting board as it stands now.
