QB JORDAN TRAVIS (JETS)

I had to start with ultra-talented quarterback Jordan Travis. Fans adore his ability on and off the field. He was the definition of what it was like to be a Seminole.

As we know, Travis' season ended early after he suffered a gruesome lower-body injury on Senior Night versus North Alabama. Through that traumatic event, he decided to lean closer to his faith in God.

Head football coach Mike Norvell always emphasizes the fact of battling through adversity even when things don't go your way. Quarterback Jordan Travis certainly did that and so much more. It was a rocky start in Tallahassee for Travis where he did not see the field and comtemplated quitting football.

However, the signal-caller did not give up. Former offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham and head football coach Mike Norvell expressed full confidence in his skill set. Some fans did not even think that Travis could throw 15 yards downfield.

On Saturday, Travis proved the doubters wrong that said that about him. The New York Jets selected the West Palm Beach native with the 171st overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

This could be a perfect opportunity for him as he gets to learn behind veterans Aaron Rodgers and Tyrod Taylor.
