Three highly-touted 2025 recruits lock in official visits with the Noles in the summer

Florida State has not secured a defensive back during this recruiting cycle. However, it seems as though that could be coming to an end soon given defensive back coach Patrick Surtain Sr's recruiting prowess.

As I alluded to in a previous article, the Seminoles seem to have their eyes set on four-star cornerback Gregory Xavier Thomas from American Heritage High School in Plantation, Florida. However, the coaching staff would look to hopefully obtain at least one safety this cycle since they did not acquire one in the last one.

One safety target to monitor is four-star Jordan Young from Monroe High School in Monroe, North Carolina. Unfortunately, the Clemson Tigers are currently the crystal ball prediction leaders in his recruitment. However, the Seminoles can put their best foot forward with Young's recruitment as it was reported by On3's Chad Simmons that he will officially visit FSU on June 14-16.

The coaching staff wants to create positive momentum in the summer. It helps to bring in both four-star safety Jordan Young and four-star linebacker Ty Jackson on the same weekend. That would certainly make the Seminoles have a talented haul on the defensive side of the football.
