WR MALIK BENSON LOOKED GREAT

Florida State is having to replace the likes of big-bodied wide receivers Johnny Wilson and Keon Coleman, who both declared for the 2024 NFL Draft. They were the top-two options for the Seminoles' offense in the 2023 season.

As a result, the Seminoles are having to hit the reset button and fill the position room back up with talent. They added pieces such as Malik Benson (Alabama) and Jalen Brown (LSU). While Benson did not have much production with the Crimson Tide, you could see the speed on display when he got into the open field.

On Tuesday, it seems like Benson took another step forward as he prepares to have a wonderful senior season in Tallahassee. Norvell informed the media that Benson looked great in practice where he had a ton of good plays. He also stated that the Alabama transfer can play at an elite level.

The coaching staff is putting a ton of things on his plate in terms of expecting him to be a big contributor during the 2024 season. As I alluded to in a previous article, I thought that the Alabama transfer would be the Seminoles' number-one wide receiver option, which is looking good right now.
